I really like the new satellite data. It has a much better interface than Terraserver and is faster. Google Maps has better data for much of the United States (like NYC, or heck, even Vancouver, BC), but I like Terraserver's presentation of the Urban Areas better. Also, the projection used by Google Maps makes the satellite images look funny. I'm not sure how this can be overcome, though, since Terraserver splits the US into a number of vertical strips to help overcome the curvature of the earth. However, I really love how we can now map directions onto satellite data with Google Maps. I currently use Google Maps for all my directions, but I won't use it for all my satellite data. I like the projection used by Terraserver (and the higher resolution in Urban Areas, so I'll stick with what works best for the area I want to look at.
