Alien Bug Magma Terror Squid

Whoever is in charge of titles at the Sci Fi Channel should either a) drink more..or b) drink less. One of the gems:

Black Hole Terror (working title), a thriller from director Tibor Takacs (Mansquito) about a failed experiment which threatens to swallow the entire Midwest. Kristy Swanson and Judd Nelson star.

Mansquito? Was I supposed to say "Man! That movie rocked! Mansquito was the best movie since....uh...Squid/Tentacles (working title)!"

Please don't cancel Battlestar Galactica, Sci-Fi, or you won't be able to afford more glamour projects from Mansquito director Tibor Takacs.

What's really sad, is they turned down the new Doctor Who series for things like that. :shiver:

Mind you, Doctor Who isn't Battlestar, but it sure beats those sad movies they have been putting out.

Everything seems to be in a downward spiral lately.

Enterprise has gone way down the slope towards barley passable. So I have to have Battlestar for my Sci-Fi Fix .. pleaseee.. .

Dude, stop dissing Squid/Tentacles (working title). I have seen the writer's previous work on display at various short film festivals across the country and it is nothing short of breathtaking. I have also had the pleasure to meet him personally and he has more charisma than any one man should be allowed. He is truly a rock star and will one day be known as the "bad boy for scifi screenwriting." He gets all the hot chicks too.

Conclusion: if this movie sucks, it will be a stark departure from the writer's previous works.
