So imeem demo'd at Demo. imeem is a windows application that brings together social networking, im, filesharing, picture sharing and blogging in a single, caching windows application. It's really cool technology and they have a solid design sense, which is something I really like a about them.
One thing that I think they are doing especially right is that all communications are cryptographically secured. This is a very right way to do IM. It is invitation only, but if you are interested, I have some. Please note I'm an advisor to the company, but that's not a bad thing :-)

I am very interested, want a invitation. My email: keso.hb (at) gmail.com. thanks a lot.
I am interested in an invite.
narenpublic -a t- yahoo
I'm also interested, but I'm not sure that it would be useful to me alone. Network effects and all that. Unless as a new user I have the ability to invite others as well? mlambert .a.t. gmail .dot. com
On a related note, interesting distinction to be made between network effects and personal network effects. Ebay has network effects, since I don't know those I'm networking with. Instant Messanging builts on the personal network effect, since I only care about the overlap between the network and my personal network. Although, I suppose there is an indirect (secondary) network effect as the population base *does* justify additional development in the platform, which does indirectly benefit me.
I am interested in an invite too. I wonder if it is something like Grouper which I found very resource hungary. Networking seem to merge with social software nowadays and I expect many apps like this one. One hard thing will be getting all your friends use the same app when most are happy with MSN or Yahoo. All in all, I will appreciate an invitation. My email address is turkerkeskinpala@gmail.com.
Thanks.
